Hello, we sent over the offer letter last night. I'm not sure if you had a chance to review it. I did, yes. I just had one question. Of course, what's up? It says the salary base is $900,000. I'm just wanting to confirm, is that accurate? Nope. That was definitely meant to say $90,000. Likely a typo. Sorry about that. I was going to say, because when I auto-applied through Sprout, all my applications were tailored to what I'm looking for. So the roles in Surface are already lined with the salary range that I'm targeting, and for this it showed $75k to $105k. Yeah, I know for sure. Formatting error for my colleague in HR. My application was very impressive, but it honestly took me 20 minutes, and I did not even want to admit that. I just went onto Sprout, I uploaded my resume, and then I toggled these two on. Which is how every time that I click apply, the AI will automatically apply for me on the company website with a tailored application. And that's how you do it.

skit: offer-letter call -> $900k typo gag -> pivot to sponsored tool demo

Transplant note
The skit shape transplants cleanly and the salary numbers quoted ($90k, $75k-$105k) are already plausible Australian bands, so no currency or market surgery is needed. What would not carry is the payload: the entire back half is a sponsored demo of a third-party auto-apply product. Ark would keep the cold-open dialogue device (two-person phone call, absurd reveal, pivot) and swap the payload for a positioning mechanism — e.g. the same call where the candidate is told the band is $90k and has to counter.
Brand fit note
Structure is usable — genuine cold open, no preamble, a story that earns attention. Substance is not. It promotes a third-party paid tool, which by itself caps this at with_changes, and the tool's proposition (AI auto-applies on your behalf with 'tailored' applications) is the direct opposite of Ark's thesis that volume without positioning is why the reader gets nothing — Ark's own topic language is literally 'volume-no-results'. The '20 minutes' and '$900,000' figures are fictional skit numbers, not proof-bank numbers, so they cannot ship as-is. The honest Ark rebuild is the contrarian inversion of this video: keep the skit, then land 'You didn't send 400 applications. A robot sent 400 applications with your name on them. That's why nobody called.'
