a quick PSA this Monday #jobsearch #job
Transcript
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you will literally never get a job if you only apply on LinkedIn or Indeed. Because how do you expect to get yourself noticed amongst like thousands of other applicants? My friend who works at Meta is showing this trick that I've been using for the last two months, and I already have four interviews lined up. I'm not going to get cute, so listen up. There's a website called Sprout, and once you upload your resume, you go on to AI settings, and you make sure that you have these two toggled on, your AI cover letter and AI resume. That way, whenever you click apply, the AI will automatically apply for you on the company website with a tailored application. And now you have quadrupled your chances of getting noticed.

Topic
volume-no-results
Sub-topic
AI auto-apply tool for job boards
Content angle
applying on job boards alone is invisible; automate around it
CTA
go to the Sprout website, upload your resume and toggle on AI cover letter and AI resume
Narrative structure
belief named and broken -> friend-at-a-big-tech-company credibility -> tool walkthrough -> outcome claim
AU transplant
yes
Transplant note
Already an Australian account speaking to an Australian job seeker, and the premise — LinkedIn and Indeed applications disappearing into thousands of applicants — is exactly the volume-no-results pain our reader lives. The first fifteen seconds transplant verbatim. Nothing country-specific needs stripping; the problem is the payload, not the market.
Brand fit note
Only the hook survives. The opening is a clean contrarian inversion and names the exact belief our reader holds, but the mechanism is a third-party tool promotion that argues for MORE volume with AI-generated resumes and cover letters — the direct opposite of positioning, and close enough to misrepresentation (an AI writing your resume for you) to brush Never-ships #1. It also names an employer for borrowed credibility ('my friend who works at Meta') and makes an unverified outcome claim ('four interviews lined up' in two months) with no proof. Rebuild: keep 'you will never get a job if you only apply on LinkedIn or Indeed', then replace the tool with the real mechanism — direct hiring-manager outreach, with an Australian number attached (1,000+ applications, zero replies; 14 months of waiting).
