I’ve gotten jobs for 1,000s of clients. 99% of them have 2-page resumes. 1 pagers are for students and that’s it. #resume #jobsearch #career
Transcript
1 page resumes are dead. So if you wanna get hired, here's what you put in your two page resume. First, your experience shouldn't start until about halfway down page 1. Ahead of that we need professional title, a super braggy professional summary and an a t s focused keyword section. We also need plenty of white space so the reader and the a t s can digest the information properly. You need 6 to 12 bullet points for your recent jobs. You can kinda scale back after that. Your bullet points should usually be 2 to 3 lines long and they should tell stories of what you did, how you did it and what you achieved. Also before your bullet points, don't sleep on these job overviews. They provide essential context for each role. You're also gonna have sections like education, certifications, technical skills and of course make sure it's an a t s friendly resume template which you can find in my bio.

Transplant note
The structure is the strongest thing here: five words that kill a rule the audience obeys, then an actual spec — experience starts halfway down page 1, 6 to 12 bullets on recent roles, bullets 2 to 3 lines, job overviews before bullets. That is real mechanism with counts, and it rebuilds directly. What breaks on the flight over: this is a US resume, not an Australian one. Australian corporate CVs routinely run two to three pages, the US 'super braggy professional summary' reads badly against Australian understatement, keyword-stuffing sections are a US ATS artefact, and 'education, certifications' ordering differs for an overseas degree — which is the bit our reader actually needs solved. The caption's '1,000s of clients, 99%' claim does not survive either.
Brand fit note
Closest of the four to the voice: opens cold with a claim, no preamble, real mechanism, and genuine cost accounting (6-12 bullets, 2-3 lines, halfway down page 1). Three fixes before it ships. One, the caption's 'jobs for 1,000s of clients, 99% of them have 2-page resumes' is an unverified outcome number — Never ships #7, replace with proof-bank figures (70+ verified placements, $5M+ in offers). Two, it terminates in a link-in-bio template rather than teaching; Ark's CTA should point at positioning, not a download. Three, the substance is US-specific and the doc's test is explicit: if a US coach could publish the same words unchanged, it isn't ours — so the layout spec must be rewritten to Australian conventions and to how Australian hiring reads an overseas degree and overseas employer names.
