Having adult money: 😍💳✨ Having adult demands on my time: 😭📅 Because WHY did no one tell me the trade-off for finally being able to afford the trips, dinners, clothes, hobbies, and random little luxuries I wanted… …was having approximately 17 minutes a week to enjoy them? 😂 I have the money for the vacation. I do not have the PTO. I can afford the hobby. I cannot locate three consecutive hours. I can buy tickets to the thing. Unfortunately, my calendar would like a word. Being an adult is basically spending your younger years thinking: “I can’t wait until I have my own money.” Only to grow up and realize: Oh.
