You’re doing great work—but you’re never invited into the rooms where that work is discussed. 🚩 Their only feedback is “keep doing what you’re doing.” Sounds positive… until you realize they’re giving you zero direction on what you need to demonstrate to reach the next level. 🚩 They keep you indispensable in your current role. You’re so good at what you do that moving you would create a problem for them. 🚩 They don’t advocate for you when you’re not in the room. Because promotions are often decided in conversations you aren’t invited to. A good boss doesn’t just manage your performance. They help create opportunities for your progression. And if yours isn’t doing that?
