You’re working hard. But you’re talking about your work all wrong. ❌ “I’ve been working on this for weeks.” Okay… and? Your leadership team doesn’t need to know how hard something was. They need to know why it mattered. Instead, say: ✅ “This saved the team two weeks of rework.” ✅ “This reduced our turnaround time by 30%.” ✅ “This eliminated three manual steps from the process.” ✅ “This helped us deliver ahead of schedule.” ✅ “This prevented an issue that would have impacted 500 customers.” Effort tells people you’re busy. Impact tells people you’re valuable. And when you’re trying to get promoted, increase your visibility, or position yourself for bigger opportunities, that distinction matters. Stop reporting what you did. Start communicating what changed because you did it. Want a custom strategy for becoming more visible, communicating your value, and positioning yourself for your next career move? 👇 Comment COACH and I’ll send you the details. #communication #careercoaching #careercoach
