I sat down and imagined what little Chi would ask me if she could see my life now. Some answers made me laugh. Some were a no. Some happened much later than she planned. She wanted to be a doctor. She thought she’d marry at 21. She dreamed about America. She couldn’t wait to grow up. Life didn’t follow her script. But slide 11 is the one that gets me.
