Transcript
This resume is for someone with over 10 years of work experience applying for a senior role. And so is this one. But this is a one interview resume and this is a 10 interview resume. Same person, same experience. One gets ignored, one gets hired. And I wanna show you the three reasons why. Now. The first change had to do with the length of the resume. That the before version has five roles, some of them being from over 15 years ago, while this after version focuses on three roles, expanding on those in detail. It's always best to only show your most recent and relevant roles and either remove older rules or if they're still relevant you can put them in an additional work experience section. The next change had to do with the amount of details in the work experience section. This before version matched well with job postings because of that. It was very high level and generic. It actually looked like a lot of A I. Written resumes. After version there's a lot more specific detail on projects and initiatives and achievements with measurable results. Details like that make you unique and stand out and much more memorable. Last change had to do with improving the overall readability slash scanability of the resume. So changes for that included condensing the professional summary at the top to bring up the work experience section higher on the page included categorising the skill section and since there Was space. A certification section was also added. And if you wanna apply these strategies to your resume you can access the exact resume templates that I use for both mid and senior level roles with details and instructions for each section. Or you can have me write your resume for you. All details are available from the link in my profile.
