If these are in your resume… they have to GO! #resume #career #jobsearch
Transcript
These are things I delete immediately from my clients' resumes. One, AI slop words and phrases like these. Soft skills like these. Basic technology like these. Old experience, anything before 2006, ideally before 2011, we're cutting. Graduation year, duh. Your home address. Excessive keywords, you will be penalized for keyword stuffing. No grades for education. And honestly, delete the entire thing if it's not on an ATS-optimized resume template, like the kinds you can find in my Mega Resume and Cover Letter Bundle.

Transplant note
Already an AU creator, so the whole structure carries: cold open on a practitioner claim ('things I delete from my clients' resumes'), then a rapid delete-list. AU-relevant specifics survive — no home address, no grades, cutting pre-2011 experience, no graduation year. Nothing here depends on US visa law or US salary bands. For an internationally-trained audience you'd add the migrant-specific deletions (overseas address blocks, home-country referee titles, full academic transcripts) which is where the differentiation lives.
Brand fit note
The delete-list shape is very usable and the 'AI slop words / soft skills / basic technology' items are blunt and specific in the right way. Two problems. First, the CTA is a funnel into a third-party paid template bundle — the doc's with_changes trigger for promoting a paid program — and 'delete the entire thing if it's not on my template' is a product claim, not a mechanism. Second, it fails the numbers check: 'you will be penalized for keyword stuffing' asserts an outcome with no figure, and there is no cost accounting anywhere (how many resumes, what percentage screened out, what the ATS actually does). Note it does not trip Never ships — cutting graduation year and address is omission, not misrepresentation. To ship: keep the list, add why each line costs the reader in screening terms, attach one real number, and replace the bundle CTA.
