5 signs you're winning with money 💰 # 5 sounds obvious. It's actually the hardest. 👇 I used to think being “good with money” meant simply earning more. Then my income went from $60K to $185K+. And I realized that making more money doesn't automatically mean building more wealth. What you do with the gap matters. Here are 5 things I’d look at instead: ✅ You invest in yourself. Your ability to earn is one of your biggest assets. Building skills and a better career can compound for decades. I have experienced this first hand. ✅ You don’t carry high-interest debt like credit card debt. It’s hard to build wealth when your money is constantly working to pay for yesterday’s purchases. ✅ You have an emergency fund. At least 3 months of expenses set aside can give you something incredibly valuable: flexibility. ✅ You consistently save and invest at least 15% of your take home income. You don't need to save every dollar. You need a system that consistently moves money toward your future. ✅ Your lifestyle grows slower than your income. This one became especially important for me as my income increased. I could have upgraded everything around me every time I got a raise. Instead, I tried to let my wealth grow faster than my lifestyle. Because the goal isn't to look wealthy. It's to build enough money and flexibility that you eventually have more choices about how you spend your time. That's what financial freedom means to me. How many of these 5 are true for you?
