Each interviewer is evaluating something different. Ask the wrong one the wrong thing and you sound generic, so here are some great questions to ask depending on the stage you’re at (save this!!) 📌 1️⃣ HR & Recruiters They own culture, retention, and growth, not necessarily your day to day. “How does the company actively support continuous learning, professional development, and skill-building for its employees?” “The company’s core values highlight [X]. How does that value actually manifest in daily life and decision-making here?” “What do you personally find keeps people energized and staying with this company long-term?” 2️⃣ Peers & Teammates They don’t care about your 5-year plan, they care if you’ll carry your weight and whether or not you will get along/mesh well! Be genuine and warm! “How do you and the team handle collaboration and communication when a project hits an unexpected blocker or a tight deadline?” “What does a typical day look like for a member of this team, and what’s the balance between meetings and focused deep work?” “If you could change one thing about the current workflow or the software tools the team uses, what would it be?” 3️⃣ The Hiring Manager They’re already picturing you doing the job at this point 😏 “What does success look like in the first 30, 60, and 90 days? What are the immediate goals you’d like me to hit?” “What is the biggest operational challenge someone in this position will face right away?” “How would you describe your personal management philosophy, and how does your team handle performance feedback?” “What do you love most about working here?” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pro tip: If you comment INTERVIEW I will send you the link to my favorite free site where you can practice interview prep, role playing, and brainstorming actual questions you can ask based on the job and your experience. 👋Follow for more free interview tips! #interview #interviewprep #jobsearch #interviewtips #jobinterviewquestions
