A generic resume won’t get you interviews, especially now that AI is making everyone’s resumes sound the same. Use that to your advantage. Stand out by including specific details that show employers what makes your experience the right fit. Here are 3 examples: EXAMPLE 1: PROJECT MANAGEMENT ❌ “Managed multiple projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with stakeholders to meet deadlines and business objectives.” ✅ “Led a $2.5M Salesforce implementation supporting 3,000 employees, managing a 12-person project team and coordinating 5 departments.” EXAMPLE 2: PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ❌ “Collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve business processes, increase efficiency, and support company goals.” ✅ “Redesigned monthly financial reporting for 8 business units using Power BI and SQL, reducing report preparation time from 5 days to 2 days and eliminating 20 hours of manual work per month.” EXAMPLE 3: TEAM LEADERSHIP ❌ “Managed and developed a team of employees, providing coaching and guidance to improve performance and achieve department goals.” ✅ “Led 18 customer service representatives supporting 150+ business accounts, implementing a Zendesk ticketing workflow that reduced response times by 35%.” See the difference? The stronger examples show employers your level of responsibility, the scope of your work, the specific skills and tools you used, and the impact of your contributions. You don’t need numbers in every bullet point, but you do need enough detail to help employers understand what you accomplished and why you’re qualified. #resumetips #resumetemplate #resumebuilder #resumehelp #jobhunting
