Hey there, thanks for hopping on. Why is your camera off? I won't be able to start the meeting until you turn it on. You know, that's a requirement for work from home meetings. I'm a little bit sick, so I don't feel comfortable turning my camera on today. I hope that's okay. Are you seriously disrespecting me right now? You're wasting everyone's time with this. Just turn your camera on. It's actually company policy that I don't have to turn my camera on. In the handbook that was sent to me when I was hired by you, it said that cameras being on are optional. Also, when I applied through Sprout, it literally listed this role as being hybrid and said that work from home days don't require a camera on meetings. I remember this because Sprout actually tailored my application to this exact job. Per science resume, per science cover letter, everything, and those expectations were not there in the posting. Well, look, I'm your manager and whatever I say goes. I don't care what's in the handbook or what I recruited for our job description on whatever Sprout is. Just turn it on so we can start. You're honestly making this way more difficult than it has to be.
