Victoria’s new points test is bad news for most PR hopefuls 👇 13 Oct update, 190 and 491: 1️⃣ You now pay to be ranked. $66 to register, $198 if invited, inc. GST. Last year: free. 2️⃣ Old ROIs don’t carry over. Everyone resubmits when it opens. 3️⃣ Age beats experience. 300 points at 29, 136 at 40. More than 8 years in your job earns 100 max. 4️⃣ A test beats a career. Superior English 200, Competent 0. Priority sectors: 7 last year, 4 now. Healthcare, social assistance, education, construction keep a second shot (if your occupation is listed). The other 3 are off the list. My take: fairer on paper, harsher in practice. Under 30, Superior English, occupation listed? Strongest on paper this year. Everyone else: fix English first, it’s the fastest lever. 💬 Comment “VIC” for the official points table 📌 Save this + 🔁 send to anyone waiting on Victoria Follow @ketanai.dev for Australia visa news 🇦🇺 #victoria190 #491visa #skilledmigrationaustralia #prinaustralia #internationalstudentsaustralia
