1. Reverse-engineer the job description. Identify the 5 things they absolutely need this person to deliver. Those are what your answers need to prove. 2. Build a 5-story evidence bank. Prepare one strong example each for: → solving a difficult problem → handling conflict → taking initiative → managing competing priorities → delivering a measurable result One good story can answer several different behavioural questions. 3. Prepare for the doubts they may have about you. Career pivot? Employment gap? Missing industry experience? Overqualified? Don’t hope they won’t notice it. Prepare an answer that removes the risk. 4. Research the interviewer, not just the company. Look at their role, team and recent activity. Then ask yourself: What problem is this person probably hiring me to make easier? Speak to that problem during the interview. 5. Prepare your closing statement. Before you leave, say something like: “From our conversation, it sounds like your biggest priorities are X and Y. My experience doing A and B means I could come in and contribute specifically in those areas.” #interview #interviewtipsandtricks #jobinterview
