Do NOT let the internet trick you into leaving your job. They will not help you pay your bills. #jobsearch #careeradvice #recruitertips
Transcript
Uh, you guys, please don't quit your job. Please, I beg. Please do not quit your job. Okay, I was just scrolling threads, and I saw someone post, oh, y'all are. Something about, oh, y'all are scared to leave those corporate plantations. Y'all scared to walk off those corporate plantation? Yeah, uh, absolutely. In this market. Like, today's market? Yeah. It is literally the equivalent, you know, when you used to go to the clubs, um, back in the day, and they would, like, stamp the back of your hand, and they would say, no re entry if you leave. That's it. It's like that today. It is like that today. There is no re entry or no guarantee of a re entry. Don't care what degree you have. You could be P H D. Up and you still will be waiting. You are still competing with people who you probably feel like how comp. Competition. I got all these degrees. I've got all these accolades, certifications, all the experience. Yeah, you. You are not above the program. It is awful out here. There are no jobs. There are no jobs. There are jobs, but then. Then there are no jobs at the same time. And the competition is so fierce, you would be doing yourself a disservice to just leave a job, you know, just for the plot. If you are seriously unhappy where you are. I get it. For your own mental health, you have to assess the Risk. I'm not saying that you should never quit a job, but you have to really assess the risk and don't let people online bully you into leaving a good opportunity. Because of what? Entrepreneurship. Like, I've done well for myself for the past few months, you know, you know, working and being my own boss, and that's all great, but, like, I'm not above the program either. Okay? There's not a single day where I don't get up and be like, I really have. I eat what I hunt, literally. Okay, so it's work. It's. It's work corporate, it's work independent, it. It's all work at the end of the day. Do not let these people online bully you into leaving your nice, cushion job. Please, I. I beg.

Transplant note
The 'no re-entry stamp' analogy and the 'your degrees don't exempt you' beat both carry cleanly, and the enemy — anonymous online advice telling you to walk out — is exactly the misinformation industry Ark already attacks. What must change: the 'corporate plantation' quote it is built around is US-specific and racially loaded, and the stakes are different here. For an AU audience on a 482, 485 or student visa, quitting is not just a market risk, it is a visa risk — sponsorship ties, the 60-day window, work-hour conditions. That is the harder, more specific version of the same argument. The fatalistic 'there are no jobs, there are no jobs' refrain also has to go.
Brand fit note
The contempt is pointed outward at people online rather than at the reader, which passes that check, and the repetition triple ('please don't quit your job... please, I beg... please do not quit your job') is exactly the voice's emotional-weight device. But three things block it as-is. One: the 'corporate plantation' framing is quoted and repeated twice and cannot ship — it collides with the ban on ethnic/racial generalisations and with register control. Two: zero numbers, which fails 'Is there at least one number?' — no application counts, no salary figures, no time-to-hire. Three: 'there are no jobs' with no lever is despair, not mechanism, and contradicts the brand promise that demonstrated value is the lever you control. Also 'you have to really assess the risk' is a hedge to delete on sight. Rebuild as: don't quit -> here is the visa and market cost in numbers -> here is what to build while you stay.
