Getting ATS ready is an elaborate process but you can do it! And if you have trouble… I’m here to help 🙂 #resume #jobsearch #career #resumetips
Transcript
Here is the difference between a resume with a 10% ATS score and a resume with a 100% ATS score. And you can easily make all these changes to your resume in just a couple of minutes. First, instead of a career objective, we are going to use a professional summary and we're going to start it with this magic sentence. ATS wants to know your job title, your years experience, and the core functions that you've held. Next, an ATS will often throw out our resume because it misunderstands our work history. So when we're listing our experience, we want to go with job title first, then company name, then location, then dates, including months. Now obviously keywording is critical, so pop the job description into ChatGPT with this prompt to get the right keywords. Then we're going to add them to a key skills section and use them at the beginning of your bullet points as well. This right here is a game changer, so thank me when it works. Finally, just to be safe, go with a professionally designed ATS optimized resume template, which you can find in my bio.

AU transplant

Transplant note
Already an AU account and nothing in it is country-locked. The whole spine carries: summary-instead-of-objective, job title before company name, months in dates, keyword extraction, key skills section. For Ark it would need Australian specificity layered on — Australian resume conventions (no photo, no DOB, two-page norm, achievement-led bullets) and how Australian recruiters read an overseas employer name they don't recognise. The ChatGPT keyword prompt step transfers unchanged.
Brand fit note
Structure is strong and there is a real mechanism (four concrete formatting changes, not encouragement), which passes the 'mechanism not encouragement' check. Problems: 'this is a game changer' is on the Never-use vocabulary list; '10% ATS score' and '100% ATS score' are invented metrics with no source, which fails the unverified-numbers check; and it ends on a funnel to a paid template rather than a mechanism. Also zero Australian specificity — a US coach could publish these exact words, which the relevance test rejects. Rebuild as: 'Your resume isn't being rejected by a person. It's being rejected by a parser that can't tell your Mumbai employer from your job title.' Then the same four fixes, cold open, no product plug.
