If you want an AI Product Manager role, your portfolio needs to prove that you can do the work. Here are 3 projects you can build: 1. Build an AI evaluation suite Choose an existing AI product. Document 50–100 failure cases, create a scoring rubric, test each case and publish your methodology. 2. Ship a small AI product Build a simple app or wrapper, get 10–50 people to use it and improve it based on their behavior. Track usage, costs and where users struggle. 3. Contribute to an open-source AI project Find an active project on GitHub and improve the documentation, testing, evaluation framework or product experience. None of these needs to become a startup. The goal is to show that you understand AI quality, real user behavior and the trade-offs involved in shipping an AI product. Comment AIPM and I’ll send you my AI Product Manager guide. AU transplant
yes
Transplant note
Transcript is unusable (placeholder audio), so only the caption carries signal — treat this as a caption-driven pattern. The shape transplants directly: pick a target role, then list three concrete, spec'd artefacts that prove capability (50–100 documented failure cases, a scoring rubric, 10–50 real users). That is exactly Ark's proof-of-work and market-signal offer, and it is the sharpest answer to the local-experience objection: you cannot get Australian experience, so you manufacture Australian evidence. Nothing country-specific to strip — no US salary bands, no US hiring law. An AU rebuild would swap in a locally legible dataset or problem so the work reads as Australian-market relevant.
Brand fit note
The substance is on-brand — real mechanism, specific artefacts, and actual numbers (50–100 failure cases, 10–50 users), which clears the "is there a number" check and avoids all Never ships items. Two fixes required. First, it is currently a list of tasks, not a subdivision: the voice would split "AI product manager" into sub-roles (evaluation, shipping, governance) and map them to personality types, because sub-roles mapping to people is the signature teaching pattern. Second, nothing in it is Australian — as written a US coach could publish it unchanged, which the relevance test rejects outright. It needs the local-experience objection named explicitly and the reader addressed as one person in a survival job here.
