The interview gives you new information… use it to help your case with landing this job! #interview #jobsearch #career
Transcript
Do not send a thank you email after a job interview. If you're sending a little message like this, "Oh thank you so much for interviewing me today. It was great getting to know you and your company and I'm looking forward to hearing back." You sound like every other sad sack who's trying to check a box after the interview. If you're gonna bother sending an email after a job interview, use the information you gained during that interview to elevate yourself as a candidate. If you learned they were worried about AI risks, send them a plan on how you would mitigate those. If you found out they had a dip in advertising revenue, put together a pitch on how you would increase that. This is what a good post-interview email looks like. This is a bold move. We are in a time where bold moves are necessary.

AU transplant

Transplant note
Already an Australian account and already Australian-market. The structure — name the ritual everyone performs, show the exact dead script, replace it with a mechanism — is the single most reusable shape in this batch. The worked examples (AI risk mitigation plan, pitch to lift dipped advertising revenue) would be swapped for roles Ark places into: a dashboard mock-up after a data analyst interview, a 30-day plan after an ops coordinator interview. Nothing here is country-specific; no visa or salary-band claims to strip.
Brand fit note
Strong fit on pattern one: it names the belief ('send a thank you email'), breaks it with a mechanism (use what you learned to make a second pitch), and never breaks it with encouragement. Opens cold on the claim. Sentences are short and declarative. Two gaps against the checklist. There is no number anywhere — Ark's version needs cost accounting (how many days the Australian hiring gap runs, how many candidates send the identical line). And 'You sound like every other sad sack' aims the contempt at the reader rather than at the system; the doc says the systems are the target, so rewrite it as the career-services template that taught everyone the same line. Also add the local-experience angle: a follow-up that demonstrates value is the fastest way to kill the 'no Australian experience' objection. No Never ships triggers — it asks for proof of work, not misrepresentation.
