Here is how to get promoted in three steps: (I bet you haven’t tried this!) 🍊Step 1: Go to the job boards, find the next job that you want and write down the skills that you don’t have from the job description. 🍊Step 2: Get on projects at work that will get you those skills. 🍊Step 3: Track your growth & accomplishments. Show your manager how your value has increased and ask for that promotion! If they don’t give you that promotion then you still win because now you have marketable skills to bag the next job. How did you earn your last promotion? PS - Make sure you’re also getting job interviews passively while you’re at your current role so that you never feel stuck!
