You didn’t hear it from me… 😅 You got this! 👏 (Revisiting some favorites while on maternity leave - enjoy!)
Transcript
Three times it's okay to lie in a job interview. Let's go. So, are you interviewing at any other companies? Nope, no other companies got back to me. I don't care if this is your dream job and the only interview you got. You are now the bachelorette and have a gazillion jobs vying for your heart. You tell them, yes I am, but transparently, this is my top choice. What would you say is your greatest weakness? Well, for starters, I'm incredibly stubborn. I've been formally crowned the typo queen. And if you talk to me before coffee, I'll growl. Nope, don't scare them off. Just say something like, one thing I'm currently actively working on improving are my delegation skills. So, why are you leaving your current job? Well, for starters, my boss is a psychopath. Nope, I don't care if your boss was a certified looney tune. Save that tea for when you got the job. Because if you say it right now, you just look like a red flag. It's like when the guy you're on a date with is talking crap about his ex-girlfriends. Were they the problem? Instead, try something like, there was a sudden shift in the management style at my company and my role had grown stagnant. It feels like a natural time to move on to something else. You got this? And follow for more.

Transplant note
Structure (contrarian premise -- 'lying' is reframed as strategic reticence -- delivered as a numbered list of interview scenarios: other offers, weaknesses, reason for leaving) is culturally portable, no US-specific references in the transcript. NOTE: caption flags this as a repost ('Revisiting some favorites while on maternity leave') -- the outlier performance may partly reflect the algorithm re-surfacing proven older content to a wider audience during a posting gap, not a fresh hook landing today. Worth weighing that against the score when judging how much signal this one data point carries.
Brand fit note
Confirmed against reference/arkabroad-voice.md "Never ships" item 1: advice to lie/misrepresent in an interview. Ark Abroad sells positioning, not fabrication, and this audience's visa/offer standing is materially at risk if they act on it. Tagging holds.
